   Bringing the excitement of ballet to Orange County residents since its debut in April, 1977, the Ballet Repertory Theater has persented such major works as the full length "Giselle", "The Nutcracker", "Swan Lake Act II,", "Sleeping Beauty Act III", and abridged "Red Poppy", and 20 classical divertissements.
   The Company is composed of approximately 35 dancers and is primarily an all-volunteer organization. Civic Ballet supports its operations through the proceeds from performances, guild fund raising activities, and individual donations.
   The primary purpose and objective of the company is to provide a regional ballet company, which will offer excellent classical ballet to its audiences and to afford the serious-minded students of ballet the opportunity to perform in a truly professional atmosphere.
   This actual performing experience, coupled with the discipline imposed by the artistic director, develops those important characteristics vital to a dancers success when auditioning with major companies.
