Classes
The weekly schedule at OCDC includes Group, Private & Semi-private lessons Mon-Fri, generally from 2pm to 10 pm and Sat, 8 am to 5 pm (In following areas: Ballet, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Pas de Deux, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Swing, Stretch, Tap). Click here for details on Classes Offered Our facility includes 5 separate studios conducting classes simultaneously. Having multiple studios provides our school the ability to place our students more precisely in the class that suits their current age and level of dance experience. We feel this is of an utmost importance. With some limitations depending upon the time of the year, we are usually able to offer classes to beginners or experienced potential students all year round. Scheduling of classes is done by phone or in person. This procedure allows us to give the most updated scheduling information. We will be happy to give all available class times for beginners and offer a placement class for non-beginning students. The placement class affords us the opportunity to watch a student in class and then offer appropriate classes based upon our system, the student's current age, and training level. Over the years we have developed performing groups that focus on choreography for special outside performances or competitions. These special classes are offered by audition or invitation. Technique classes are required with all performance group. |
